Our Zafu makes sitting meditation easier on the knees, ankles and back. Our long lasting, and sustainable, kapok fill is a softer fill, yet still offers support (as buckwheat). Kapok is a super soft silky cotton-like fiber sustainably harvested from the rain forest and makes a luxurious natural fill. A natural buoyant hollow fiber is moisture-resistant, quick-drying, and resilient. Kapok fill conforms to your body's shape and is wrapped in a cotton twill shell with a hidden zipper and carry handle. Round zafus tend to be slightly higher and firmer than crescent shaped zafus, which may offer better support for those less flexible.

Directions to wash Zafu Cover: It is not easy to wash the pillow with Kapok fill, versus Buckwheat Hull fill. Removing Kapok fill is harder (then Buckwheat) since Kapok is so light and fine that the fiber floats in the air and can make a mess. So it is best to refill outside or in a space that is easy to clean.
