Just as "yoga" means to yoke or join, "yojita" means joined or combined.  In the case of our Yojita Towel Mat, we have joined the popular absorbent microfiber towel with a non-slip backing to make the perfect towel and mat combination for your yoga practice.  The microfiber material remains non-slip even when wet during hot yoga as it quickly absorbs perspiration to keep you from slipping.  The microfiber top is fast drying and easy to clean.

The bottom surface of the Yojita Mat is made of an non-slip eco-friendly closed-cell PER foam.

PER stands for Polymer Environmental Resin and contains no phthalates, no heavy metals, no latex, no toxic materials during manufacturing, no dioxins, furans, or phenal.  PER is also static-free and resistant to mildew.
