The Sattva Jute Mat by Hugger Mugger is an environmentally friendly, natural yoga mat.

Jute is from a fibrous plant that is fast-growing and is a naturally renewable resource. It is grown primarily in India, Bangladesh and China. Jute requires little fertilizer and pesticides to grow. This plant is second to cotton in it's variety of uses as a vegetable fiber. Jute is also biodegradable and recyclable.

A highly versatile fiber, jute combines breathability with high tensile strength, making the Sattva Jute Mat the perfect balance of durability and comfort. This jute mat features a non-slip backing of PER (Polymer Environmental Resin) a non-toxic, eco-friendly material that contains no formaldehyde, no heavy metals, no Phthalates and is static free and resistant to mildew.
