The Manduka PRO yoga mats are the colorful version of the The Black Mat PRO. Wide (26" wide) and thick (1/4" thick) and available in two different lengths - long 71" or extra-long 85", you can now get the same unparalleled comfort and cushioning of the Black Mat PRO in this dense, thick yoga mat but in a variety of colors. The superior non-slip, fabric-like finish will keep you in place even when lightly wet with perspiration.
The Manduka PRO comes with a Lifetime Guarantee - that is how confident Manduka is that their mat will hold up under the pressures of your daily yoga practice. Zero-emissions manufacturing process and zero waste going to the landfill and certified safe for human contact by Oeko-Tex, an environmental certification agency, support Manduka's Green Mission.
The bottom of the mat is manufactured with a proprietary dot-pattern to resist sliding. The high-density cushioning provides comfort and joint protection. This mat allows for comfortable use on hard or soft surfaces. The closed-cell construction keeps out moisture to resist bacteria. Engineered for sustainability, the high quality material will not peel, flake, or fade. The expected longevity of the mat reduces consumption and landfill waste.
We recommend using Manduka Mat Renew, a gentle, certified organic yoga mat wash made with essential oils (or any non-solvent household cleaner) with a damp cloth or sponge. Hang to dry in the sunshine. Avoid soaps with scented oils as they breakdown the composition of the mat. Never squeeze out excess water from your mat. To maintain shape, hang dry. To maintain the sticky texture, clean at least once a week when in use. When not in use, store your mat in a yoga mat bag.
To Store: Roll your Manduka PRO with the top side (fabric-finish) facing outwards. This keeps the corners of the mat flat when practicing.
To Break In: The surface texture of the Manduka PRO improves with use. Our customers have found that the best way to “break in” their mat is to use it on a daily basis. Another trick is to sprinkle coarse sea salt over your mat, scrub it down with a sponge, and air dry in the sunshine. Some users have commented that their mat felt slippery until after this break-in period, and then they haven't slipped since.

Manduka PRO series yoga mats, designed to last a lifetime (or two), curb the amount of PVC mats that enter landfills every year and reduces overall mat consumption. Also, during the manufacturing of most PVC products, toxic emissions may be released into the air. However, PRO series mats are manufactured through a process that ensures no toxic emissions are released into the atmosphere. The Manduka PRO is certified safe for human contact by OEKO-TEX, an environmental certification agency in Europe for the textile industry.
