The Jade Encore mat is the first to contain recycled rubber. It is considered "Nature's Best" yoga mat.

This versatile yoga and pilates mat is made from both recycled waste rubber and sustainably harvested natural rubber. The top layer is called the "wear layer" and is made of Jade's open cell, natural rubber. This provides excellent "grip" to prevent slipping in your poses or other exercises. The natural dry rubber for these mats is sustainably harvested from well cared for rubber trees and does not include the latex component from the tree. The natural rubber mat is very durable and has incredible traction. Even if wet from sweating the traction is excellent, offering unequaled non-slip performance.

The bottom layer is referred to as the "comfort layer" and is made from pre- and/or post-consumer waste rubber. This layer provides great cushioning and grip.

The Encore Mat is an integral part of Jade’s commitment to the environment and Jade’s Reuse, Reduce, Recycle Program – allowing old Jade mats to be recycled into new Jade mats.
