This extra thick 1/4" yoga mat is twice the thickness than the standard 1/8" yoga mats. With the extra cushioning, this mat can be used for Pilates exercises as well as Yoga poses. You could even use it for any stretching or floor exercises to provide that cushioning and insulation between you and the floor.
