Votive Candle Holder : Chenrezig Mantra (Compassion)

Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying the mantra (prayer), Om Mani Padme Hum, out loud or silently to oneself, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion. Viewing the written form of the mantra is said to have the same effect.

To create this votive holder, first the glass is etched and then the design is hand painted on the glass.

Each votive holder comes in a silk covered gift box padded to cushion the piece inside. The color of the box is coordinated to votive holder design.
