The first foam yoga block to be made from recycled materials.

The black Urban Block is made from 50% recycled polyethelene film and 50% EVA. The recycled polyethelene film is from the agriculture industry and lived a prior life as a black film used to protect vegetables from frost. EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) is a foam rubber similar to PVC, but is non-toxic, contains no harmful Pthalates, and is a biodegradable and recyclable foam.

These recycled yoga blocks are sturdy with a soft, easy to grip texture and beveled edges. Slightly denser than the light-weight foam blocks, it weighs slightly more than a foam block, but less than the other eco-friendly choices: bamboo, balsa and cork.
